BOI 7 year green mortgage with 2.25 interest rate

Hi, I am thinking about to go with the 7 year green mortgage with BOI for 2.25 interest. But the 4 year rate appears to be much better on comparison. My confusion is, should I go for a long term with a slightly higher rate or a medium term with a low interest rate? Advices are highly appreciated Thanks

I'd say, long term is better as rates will go up and hard to say of they'll be lower or higher after 4 years when you'll need to shop around again. But my guess is that in 4 years they should be higher than it's offered to you now on a 4 year fix rate.
