How to set up a Payee for AIB using Phone App

Hi there

I have checked online and the procedure to add a Payee IBAN to my online banking is to use a PC and card reader.

Is there a means of adding a Payee IBAN to one's online banking directly using the phone app?

Update: I attempt to add a payee using my laptop. Unfortunately the card reader is dead as a dodo.

Any means of adding a battery to the card reader? Doesn't look like you can.

Can I change the battery on my AIB Card Reader?

Yes, your AIB Card Reader is operated using two CR2032 batteries. To replace, use a pen to unlock the battery compartment located at the bottom of your AIB Card Reader.

There's a small hole on the back of the reader just under the "not recyclable" logo. Poke a pen or other pointy object in here and with your fingernail pull out the battery drawer. Simples.

Thanks all. I pulled off some sticky tape from the base of the reader and it worked.

Now trying to add a Revolut IBAN to my online banking. Received IBAN: LT with 18 digits; BIC: REVOLUT21

I added the IBAN and it said it is invalid.
