Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Freezer issue - should I worry?

I decided to defrost the freezer. It was working fine - I assume.

I removed all the food items and then the three plastic drawers.

The attached photo is what I then saw. The top three layers of 'piping' were as I expected, covered in ice.

But the lowest layer was completely clear.

Is that normal or do I have a problem?

im only guessing here. heat rises so the any moisture in the air would be warmer so rises and condenses on the higher coils.

It could also be that the lower coil is further from the compressor, meaning that the gas has already adsorbed the heat in the previous coils.
