Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Back boiler pump not starting up

    Hi all,

We have the above plumbing set up in the hot press connected to a back boiler stove in the living room. Was all working perfectly when we stopped lighting the fire last April but when we lit the fire for the first time last week we noticed some of the rads were heating a little (smaller ones upstairs) and others were not heating at all. The hot water was also absolutely boiling.

There is power getting to the pump but it doesn't seem to be powering on at all when the heat in the pipes builds up.

Depending on where the thermostat on the pipe to the top right is set the display on the pump can switch on and off.

Is there anything I can do to get it going? I know I should just call a plumber but they are quite hard to get at the moment plus also kinda broke so if I can do it myself I would like to try. Any ideas?

    Thanks
