    Got up to around 15C here around Tralee today, Windy to strong breeze this morning gave way to a a steady breeze later and dropped off light now, feeling cool this morning but alot milder in the afternoon.

    Apparently, ther total rainfall was just above 50mm.... 6th highest ever for Cork in October....can't find the source now :-(

    On a recent drive from Trim to Dublin via Kilcock, there was quite a variation of temperature along the way, particularly on the more rural parts between Trim and Kilcock where temperatures varied between 1° and 6, depending on whether I was in a dip/valley (lower temperature) or up on a ridge (higher temperature). As I neared Dublin, the temperature remained a steady 6°

    Just had the most amazing thunder and lighting storm here in Dublin 8..... its been years since I've seen something like this!! sitting in the office with the lights off and the window open, they think I'm mad given I'm always complaining about the cold!!

    Nice dry day with sunny spells and cloudier periods. Maxed at a nice 16.9°c for late-October on the AWS which ain't too shabby at all for the time of year!
