CCC Castleknock community college question

    Our son goes to school in Castleknock. We have recently moved to Ireland and would be moving house hopefully closer to son's primary school which is in Castleknock. We were told about keeping in mind the options for secondary school. Could I ask what would be good secondary school in Area? We know about CCC. Is it really a great school? Also want to check what would be difference in outcomein a private and public secondary school? We heard some comments from aquaintances about private school education being superior than public and also other comments that there is no difference. I am not sure of we will be able to afford private school for 3 kids when they are at that age. However, can anyone tell what would be difference between CCC and Castleknock college (private) and which one would you prefer if you were to live in catchment area for both?
