Kale crisp variations

I tried using broccoli leaves instead of kale and I didn't notice too much difference.

Can anyone suggest other (leafy) plants that might also work?

Kale and broccoli leaves are quite stringy and maybe that is why they work so well and easily

I am wondering about turnip tops (or even just spinach) but I am not sure if that would work (too juicy?)

Would it be a good idea to throw fennel tops into the kale for extra taste?
