HI, I have a Ponast woodpellet boiler system, it heats my underfloor heating downstairs & upstairs radiators & water, however with the cost of pellets going through the roof, I'm thinking can i change to another more sustainable heating system, any ideas.

HI Carol B. I'm in the same scenario as your above post. I'm wondering if you change the pellet boiler. And if so any advice.

    TThanks

You need to price the current fuel in cents per kWh and do the same for the replacement fuel.

Then divide this into the caPEx cost of the new install: say 5 cents and 5,000 euro

Thiis gives 100,000 kWh and at 5,000 kWh on heating, that a 20 year payback
