Cavity filling after extraction

    Hello,

I had 15 extracted 3 days ago, dentist said was granuloma, but I'm not trusting this one so much

Tooth had retro apical resection/obturation 10 years ago. Since then, sinusal membrane looks perforated on CBCT with no sinusitis

Was considering increasing crestal height using cerabone (no periodontal disease but 30years ago coronal elongation after fracture of 15) but sinus lift is to be considered , maybe to try repair sinusal membrane. Was thinking that it would still be on time to open lateraly to repair membrane even after crestal augmentation. Only remaining thought is do we still need a wait for this in case it was abcess/granuloma?

What is your opinion on best attitude now? Should I wait 2.5mo or can I have at least cavity filled then in 2.5 mo opened sinus lift to gain addition from apical?

    Here is picture before extraction

    Thank you in advance

I love when Patients misuse technical terms to make themselves appear more knowledgeable.

Its a simple case of a apical infection. remove the tooth, let it heal and implant or implant and graft when healed.

You either trust your dentist to carry out the correct treatment or not, thats the only decision you need to make. You also have a number of other issues that should concern you more than micromanaging the implant.
