Hi All Looking for a tv socket to accept a satelite cable (screw on) and push on tv cable for saorview aerial. I got one with a small circuit board on the back. Electrician wired it but it wouldn't work as he sys the circuit board messes it up. I'm just looking for a straightforward one in which both cables can work…

Hi All

What you want is a non-diplexed socket (like this).
Likely what you have is a diplexer socket. Essentially this allows you to combine satellite and aerial feeds along a single cable though the wall. That circuit board splits the signals back out again.
