Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My preference is the sitting room or living room. However in your case, move it around, leaving it a few days in different places and see what gives the greatest level of comfort.

If in a room with a thermostatic radiator valve, turn that valve on fully.

Keep it away from direct heat and draughts. Keep it away from dead zones, like corners.

Please follow site and charter rules. "Resistance is futile"

Hallway, in my opinion, is the absolute LAST place you should place the thermostat in. Why would you control the temperature in the one part of the house you are not living in?. As mentioned above, make sure you do NOT place a TRV in the same room/location as the thermostat. You can't have 2 separate devices trying to control the temperature.
