Gun safe heat rod/golden rod

Can someone help me or point me in the right direction to find a lockdown heat rod for a gun safe to stop the dreaded mildew and musty stuff forming on timber stocks in the safe,I got 2 safes and already have a heat rod in one and I have zero issues with mildew but my second safe is starting to have issues especially coming into the damp cold weather.

I need one in 220v obviously,I got my previous one from the Uk a few years ago no issues but brexit had made a pure balls of finding anything remotely different in Europe now,Google constantly brings up USA sites that all use 110v and is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike🙄

Maybe something like this might work. 40 W might be a bit much unless it's a big safe but you could use a timer to switch it on and off periodically.

Just a thought, but would a reptile heat mat from a petshop work?

I have one of those in a Coke fridge (I am using it as a kiln of sorts) with a thermostat.

It is excellent as it only give a very mellow heat, you can hold it in your hand in comfort.

I need to vent the fridge to get rid of moisture, but this wont be an issue in a gunsafe.

An update lads and ladies,I bought the dimplex heater from screwfix and it works like a charm so far,I mounted it vertically to the side of the safe using rivet nuts…I know there meant to be mounted horizontally but I’ve no choice but to mount it vertically due to the length of it.

It keeps the temperature inside the safe a steady 2-3c higher than outside the safe and that’s exactly what you want to prevent mould and mildew forming.
