What is the best CPU for a high end gaming PC Intel or AMD ? Also what is the best adaptive-sync ? G-sync or Free-sync ?

In a very broad general sense, it's the Intel 13th gen, that were just out. But there's lots of caveats, as there can be a lot of sensitivity to the game itself. If a game is more cache sensitive, then a Ryzen 7000 would be better, or even the older Ryzen 5800X3D. And maybe the Ryzen 7xxxX3D will come out in top when they're released. There's also the issue of whether the game can take advantage of higher core counts or not.

In terms of Gsync vs FreeSync vs AdaptiveSync, I haven't seen any discussion of those for years. They've faded into the background, and people just go with what their GPU supports and don't care about it.
