That looks messy, seems unsafe as you seemingly have a live and a neutral going to the switch...? Is that a double-pole switch? Best call a REC if you're unsure.

Assuming it's actually two single-pole switches: Identify the incoming feed from the board. Group the neutrals into a block connector and tuck it away. Group the CPC/earth into the back-box lug and prepare a loop out to the switch plate (if needed). Route the live to the top of the switch (L1?) and loop L1 into the L1 on the other switch. Take the live feed to the light off L2 from one switch and the other L2 to the fan.

Double-check and please don't take risks as this is clearly a bathroom.

Thank you Yes its a double switch Pole - When you say Group the neutrals into a block connector and tuck it away are they not be wired?

OK, then it's different as you need to switch both.

Neutral from the feed goes to N1 with the neutrals to the fan and light to N2.

Live from the feed goes to L1 with the live to then fan and light to L2.

On the switch you will see that we don't have any markings for " N "

All conductors of your extraction fan need isolation( this includes neutral)

If it’s new wiring then an rcd needs to be fitted

only a rec is permitted to do electrical work in bathrooms (and fuse board if an rcd needs to be fitted)
