    Hi,

I'd like to give cheese making a go, but I've never tried it.

Has anyone tried a beginners cheese making kit before? Any recommendations?

    Thanks

I used to make cheese but never used a kit. It is very simple .. Basically 2 containers and muslin ie very fine textured cloth for straining

NB Of course you know this but it is worth repeating. You need full fat milk not skimmed as cheese is made from the fat/cream. And you will get to love skim! Excellent for baking ..

I had a goat when I made cheese, in my self -sufficiency years. Very rich milk and wonderful cheese.
