invalid zip code

im trying to buy something from Germany, it says zip code too short or invalid zipcode. tried putting in 0000 and IRL and my eircode. no luck, any suggestions?

I have tried NONE, IRL, EIRE,0000,00000,x, left it blank.

seems to be 8 digits or letters, or it says its too short.

You're not giving much information.

Germany is a different country to Ireland. The store may not deliver to Ireland.

it is from the biggest soccer club in Germany. Ireland is listed as a country they ship to.

I presume you emailed them in German - if you emailed in English the response can be delayed

Have it sorted now. emailed them in English.

I figured it out myself. I just had to put a blank space between the first 3 digits of my eircode and the last 4 digits.

is it? I usually type it all in one. if you are looking for an address to drive to, you don't need to put a space in it.

When entering an Eircode, I've always been conflicted over the space between the digits. Ultimately, it doesn't seem to make a difference when posting within Ireland. But Germany!! I've had post/packages returned because I didn't include the two 'dots' that should be over the 'U' in Furth. I've even had post returned because I got the recipients surname wrong but the actual address was correct.

They seem to have a very unforgiving postal system.
