TV please

I'm looking for a TV & maybe a soundbar, (any good combination deals around?)

TV size 47-50 inch, Free to air Sat built in ( Am I unnecessarily restricting myself with this requirement?)

TV use will be general watching TV & a bit of netflix etc..

I want a good/ easy UI switching between SAT & Digital (Terrrestrial) TV ( I know in the past LGs had in my opinion a very difficult switching process (6 keystrokes or something like that)

if I get a soundbar i'd be hoping the TV remote would suffice for that too.

Any recommendations for the above?

If you're looking for a bundle deal with a soundbar and a TV that will support satellite the LG OLEDs would be the way to go. They have both Saorview and Freesat built in, an unbeatable picture quality and you can also get a half price LG S80QR Dolby Atmos soundbar half price. I don't know how easy it is to switch between the tuners though - I would need to test that in the store.

The TV is currently £999 and the soundbar would be £549.50 (down from £1099)

if i wanted to go 50" are there options, i'll need to get measuring tape out at home.

could you check teh UI on switching between SAT & terrestrial?

Are there Samsung options available if i wanted to go that route?

That sound bar might be a bit ambitious, its mainly just for dialogue, rather than for surround sound, albeit there is a good discount.

We do have the Samsung QE50QN94A on offer at £799 at the minute and you can save £100 on the HWB550 making the total price £958. This would be one of Samsungs highest spec 50" QLED TVs. It also has TV Plus which uses both terrestrial and satellite :

The only 48" that we have would be OLED and would come in over the 500 Budget unfortunately.

LG have the 48A26 priced at 849 Euro
