Tax situation when returning to work after being on jobseekers

was on jobseekers for a few weeks & have returned to work the past 2 weeks now, thought my first payslip was incorrect cos maybe it just happens when you get a new job, but 2nd payslip is the same
seem to be missing on a category of tax credits & paying a good bit more tax than i should. is this likely a mistake or do i lose one after being on jobseekers or something? never been on it before & have worked for most of my life

You need to go to your MyAccount on Revenue.ie and go into MyEnquiries and tell them that you were on Jobseekers but you have returned to work and ask them to change your tax status from “week 1” to “cumulative”.
Im assuming that your current tax status on your payslip says “week 1”.
