PSA - Borris In Ossory Garda Station, Laois.

    Just letting anyone in the Borris In Ossory area of Laois know that the Borris Garda Station is once again "open for business".

    The station shut some years back and even before then renewals, substitutions and other business was directed to other stations such as Abbeyleix and Portlaoise.

    The station has been revamped, and has been open for some 18 months now much to my surprise, with two full Gardai and a Firearms Officer. Very nice and friendly staff.

    So anyone in this area can now use the station rather than travel further afield.
