Maynooth Train Station - Bike Lockers

Hi, is there bike lockers at Maynooth Train Station?

If so, is there many typically available on a weekday morning?

You need to rent them in advance, they're not come up and use. There is a very basic shelter free otherwise, in sight of the station building but that means bugger all in terms of security really. It also floods, frequently, to a depth of maybe 5cm; the lockers don't.

They added a second set of them a while ago so they presumably had the first lot let out.

I have never used a bike locker before but I presume there is nothing to stop someone renting a locker (weekly subscription Im guessing?) and not having their bike in there all the time and instead lying idle but as the weekly cost is so little and number of lockers is minimal it is good value to keep hold of the locker.

I have no idea of the price, they don't specify it which usually makes me think of "if you have to ask, you can't afford it".

I'm sure they'd be delighted with someone paying and not/rarely using - its no wear and tear on the locker!

I'm just the distance away where cycling doesn't really make sense; but if I lived a bit further I'd have looked at it. And I'm only in two days a week most weeks now too.
