Social housing - income?

Hi all,

I have applied twice for social housing and got refused as there saying my income is 33euros over the thershold of my area which is €30,000.

My gross is 30k and my net is about 25k or so and i was under the illusion its on net income?

I do not have any additational payments or income etc so my wages a month are all i get.

Any idea how they do these calculations im appealing today as iv no idea where these figures are coming from they are getting.

According to the government website, the limits set are maximum values, and local authorities can set their own lower limits.

thanks for the info much appreciated so are you saying that my area can decrease the limit so? Currently its 30k it says for Kerry?
