Game is going as I thought it would 6-4 Ding now. I think Ding's head will drop a bit, it is in his nature when the pressure is put on. And Allen loves a comeback.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

3 in a row for Mark, The comeback is on!

    savage last black !! 😁

I have it muted, it looked like Allen call a foul on himself there. He hit the green first instead off yellow. Just wondering if the ref missed the foul or saw it?

Ding looks rattled, that composed demeanour has somewhat evaporated.

can’t say I blame him… he’s not playing well now, Allen is.

ref called the foul on him 😊

Allen knew it'd be close - him hitting green first there - so he asked the ref to go over the far side, to give her a better look to see if he played foul shot or no

props to him for that !

Those black ball pockets are like buckets.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,111 ✭✭✭waynescales1

Wow, Ding refuses a medium distance blue, man’s rattled.

Why don't the refs scores match what's on the screen scoreboard

    8-7, come on Ding!

    Edit: Century! Silencing the doubters!

Getting near the point of embarrassment/no return has woken Ding up. This match has decider written all over it I think. No idea who wins though.

    Scrappy stuff now.

Could go all the way. 2 years ago was an epic finish in Milton Keynes.

It is going as I hope so far. Could be a great end to a great tournament. Will remember bits of it for years.

Well done Mark, 3/3 Finals, 2/3 Wins.

Got €20 on him as winner from final 4 yesterday morning at 9/2, it was cagey for a while both yesterday and this afternoon but all the sweeter now 😉.

    Serious contender for world's.

Ding just doesn't have the bottle does he? Folded faster than Superman on laundry day

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,253 ✭✭✭tanko

Ding has to be the greatest bottler Snooker has ever seen , he’d put Jimmy White to shame. all the talent and no cajones.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,111 ✭✭✭waynescales1

Although his career is generally in decline, the idea of Ding being a bottler is, of course, complete drivel. Before last week he had played in 20 ranking finals and won 14 of them. I’ll be interested in seeing the list of players who have a strike rate of over 70% in finals.

He won 3 UKs and a Masters. He’s had a pretty decent career. Won a hell of a lot more than Jimmy.

14 ranking events is some haul. Considering he had to get past Ronnie, Selby, Trump, Higgins, Williams and Murphy to win them.

Incredibly Allen’s win wasn’t reported by the Irish Times or Independent. So much for shared island.

Or just decent sports coverage even
