Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Emergency lighting

    Hi all,

Looking for help on the wiring side of emergency lights at the distribution board. I'm a qualified electrician and have recently completed an emergency lighting course. However we didn't cover the exact wiring at the DB. Is it a case of a supply from say a 10 amp mcb to the 6 amp control mcb. From there to the CTU and that feeds the contactor?

Any advice or diagram would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Been a while

For the basic non -maintained anyhow in a commercial setup

Supply taken from each lighting MCB in distribution board to a pole on a NC multipole contactor , then taken on to the emergency lights in the same area as the lighting on that particular lighting mcb

CTU then energizes contactors to test all emergency lights wired from the DB
