Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    First of all,

‘I am 35, my mam is almost 81, has bipolar and lives in rural Galway’ literally could be deleted above. That doesn’t matter to be blunt about it. Why you need to mention it I don’t know.

Nope, not a hope. You have a right to consult a solicitor but not to delay giving a breath sample while waiting for a solicitor.

This is what you need to ask a solicitor for; refusing to give a sample before asking one was not the time. Nobody here can give you an answer that isn't explicit, specific legal advice.

Rural superiority complex where it’s inexplicably more acceptable for a rural person to drive over the limit around highly populated areas like Dublin that actually has public transport and taxis than it would be for a townie to drive around a rural area over the limit.

Why would you need a solicitor to take a piss?

If you were innocent all you had to do was provide a sample.

Ignorance of the law is not generally accepted as an excuse.
