Fair Deal payback

    Hi All ...

    Just a quick question in relation to the fair deal. I'm aware that there is a 7.5% charge on the property for the first 3 years of the deal being in place. My question is, is the 7.5% pro rata if the person dies within that 3 years. For example, the FD was approved in Aug 2021 and the person died in Oct 2022, year 2. So is the charge a full 15% (2 years) or 7.5% (yr1) +1.875% (yr 2 7.5/12*3)
