    Hi all,

Applied for a cost rental property lottery back in September for Newbridge, forgot all about it to be honest as we hadn't heard anything either way. Fast forward to Friday evening, around 6:30, we received an email from the housing agency asking us to submit documents within the next 48 hours (hoping to god it means working hours because our letting agent is closed for the weekend - but anyway!)

Just wondering if anyone has been through this process and what the next steps are after the documents are submitted and how likely we are to actually get the house.

    Cheers

Why take the risk? You are required to have your required documentation ready when you apply. If they emailed you 6:30 Friday evening, that is outside normal working hours so I wouldn’t assume that they won’t begin clearing the applicants tomorrow morning.

Apart from the LL reference, you don’t need the EA, scan and email all the other docs back to them today.

We have everything else submitted now at this point, the landlord reference is the only issue. The reference needs to be within the last 6 weeks, so even if we did have it, it would be out of date as we applied at the start of September for the house.
