Ribble UK orders

Hi all,

anyone order from Ribble Uk recently?

I have used planet X UK and haven't gotten charged any extra VAT and customs as they are included in price on website since Ireland is selected as delivery.

wondering if Ribble is the same.

They’ve gone the other direction and are charging zero vat but letting you deal with customs and vat yourself, which means depending on the courier you’ll end up with a handling fee also

Yeah, I lucked out about 18 months ago and got charged zero VAT by Ribble, and didn't get any customs/ vat/ handling demand on receipt of the bike.

Anyone used them for small packages? What's the forwarding fee's like (f*cking amazon and "unable to deliver to your address" with rechargeable batteries!)

I used them to receive my planetx bike based off your post. very professional company and a pleasure to deal with. 20 quid to deliver to them, then 12 quid to Dublin.

Is that kosher in terms of customs etc? Seems similar to what Parcel Wizard used to be and then they stopped because of Brexit?
