Just registered there online for this. Replacement for the sheep welfare scheme. Not sure what this Ram genome business is all about but I clicked the box anyway for 2025.

Bloody joke having to buy a ram as part of this scheme isn't it lads.

Give us money on one hand and force us to give it away on the other 😤

Will the sheep improvement scheme reopen again or was the only chance to register when the scheme was beginning?

Aparantly it was only open last year for the full duration of 5 years. They have no intention of allowing new entrants to the scheme unless you are new entrant to sheep.

just wondering if you were in the sheep scheme last you have you to apply again .just seen where they giving you the extra 8 euro and you have to do more actions to get it pure joke when they can increase other payments in budget .social welfare .children allowance etc and the sheep farmer can.t get a break at all think its time to give up sheep farming

One of the actions mentioned is dipping, this should surely help to to eliminate the problem of buying in sheep infected with scab
