Hot Air Balloon ride present

    Hi folks,

    Just wondering if anybody knows of any hot air ballooning companies in Ireland that one could pay to take you up! Looking to get someone a present/voucher for Christmas.

    I looked online and saw a dodgy one around Trim that went insolvent recently.

    All ideas welcome.

    There was one operating in Mullingar area. I wasn't the receiver but the basket was the size of a small minibus with, I think, 10 or 12 going up at one time. The trip was very much enjoyed, but it took a lot of organising to make it happen. Very weather dependent so try and get one as close to home as possible.

    I had a voucher for the gliding club, in S Dublin for a flight. That was also a very good day out if you enjoy airborne activities and maybe more likely to go ahead on a particular day. Lots of flights going up and very welcoming club. We spent most of the day there. Good value.
