Aliexpress return address

    Hey folks,

Bought an item on aliexpress and long story short it does not work as described and the seller keeps messaging me to try a number of different troubleshooting steps. At this stage I just want a refund as it does not work as described and I don't want to spend endless hours troubleshooting it.

My question is about the return, the item shipped from Poland, but the seller is telling me it needs to be returned to China. Needless to say, this will cost me a lot more in shipping, is that legal?

As the item is faulty, I'd expect them to pay the postage.

In my experience, open a dispute with Aliexpress and so long as you properly detail your claim with photos/videos and a full explanation, AliExpress will find in your favour and issue a full refund. They do take their time about it, but it works.

Don't deal with the seller any longer and open a dispute with AliExpress.

I’ve never had to return to AliExpress sellers. I’ve always opened a dispute with evidence and told them it was too costly to return. Every single time I got a full refund without return. Dealing with sellers is a waste of time.

Thanks for the advice folks. I've opened a dispute with the seller. The status say in negotiation and the following: "If the seller does not respond or no agreement is made before 2022-11-30 ".

I'll be sure to document my case well.

Doesn't matter where it has shipped from, the seller is based in China, so your only recourse is with Ali Express as the seller doesn't have to do anything as they are not bound by eu rules
