Bluetooth headphones for portable dvd

Hi there, has anyone come across a way to use Bluetooth headphones on a device like a portable dvd player that doesn't have built in Bluetooth? I've a daughter with special needs and she chews through the cable on wired headphones so hoping to come up with a solution. Thanks!
