Gaming PC - potentially good value

So.... always going to instill debate as to the good and bad of things with Gaming PCs...

I spent a while considering a new PC for a teen. relation who wanted "FPS" i.e frames per second.

Appreciate avoidance of "crap you could have done better elsewhere" etc. but open to "after the fact" criticism. For me, I spent significant time looking at various websites and also PC Specialist (looking at cases/ssd/etc.) but for sheer comfort of purchase on a high value item, the spec of this:

    i7-12700F Processor

    RAM: 16 GB

    1 TB SSD

Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 8 GB

is not at all bad for the price - €1,659

Yes, I'd have liked to get a separate M2 boot drive, and can consider an after purchase addition , but I'd have put up with an I5-12400 etc., 16gb ram poss. update to 32gb, etc. etc. but the build itself, is actually cheaper tha you can build direct with PC Specialist (about €1,800 with a 10 day build).

Anyway, long story short, bargain alerts etc. that it is or isn't, I went for this because the "price" reduced from €2,200 to €1,659, an I7-12700 and RTX3070 is not to be sneezed at, and the price seems pretty decent given the inclusion of picking up in store and local guarantee. In fact, it was dearer than configuring directly with PC specialist.

Anyway, there you go, expect all sorts of criticism. But I think it's pretty good for the price.

A couple of hundred less than PC Specialist direct, and instant acqusition of product. Due to €550 "discount" (take from that what you will, but they are selling a different model with a 3060TI for €20 more).
