Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

we have a leak (2-3 drops per minute) in a central heating pipe above the kitchen ceiling. It’s a multilayer pipe and joint. Are there any repairs (epoxy tape, silicone tape etc) that can repair this or for proper long term fix is it a requirement to crimp a new joint into place?

    cheers

You're best off getting that re-crimped properly. You don't want to be reopening that ceiling again and again.

Thanks for that! Do you reckon re-crimping the existing joint would solve the problem or would it need to be cut out and a new joint installed?
