Vechile ramp onto footpath

Anyone know the score with getting a ramp in front of a footpath Edge leading into driveway, it's a bit of a PITA driving over the edge of the footpath all the time and shakes the life out of our cars. Would get great to ease the transition from road to footpath.

You cannot put a ramp on the actual road. You can have the footpath dished if the location is suitable. Check with your Council for details. I'm not sure about planning requirements. It might need permission.
