Testosterone & HCG together for TRT

Does anybody know if the prescription of Testosterone and HCG together is permitted for TRT in ROI?

I heard that you have to get HCG separately for fertility treatment.

Thanks for replying, I was looking for info on if it's actually allowed in Ireland, somebody told me that the only way to get HCG in Ireland is to get assessed for infertility. It could be the case that HCG is scarce and they don't want guys on TRT using up the supply maybe?

This is probably the answer to your question.

If you have a valid reason for needing these drugs, you’d need to talk to a specialist. An endocrinologist if there’s some reason your levels are low or to a fertility specialist if that’s why you’re looking for TRT. These specialists will be able to test your levels properly & prescribe suitable drugs at suitable doses to treat you.

The gold standard prescribed by endocrinologists in the U.S, UK & Europe is Test + HCG in combination, I'm only trying to find out if there is a medical legislation reason why they can't be prescribed together in Ireland so I can make plans to go to a UK clinic.

A doctor, specifically an endocrinologist in this case, will be able to tell you if there is any reason they can’t be prescribed together in this country.
