    Hi folks,

I'm going on a motorcycle adventure and having done this before, this time, I'd like to capture some of the footage. So I have an action camera (GoPro knock-off) that takes a micro SD card of 32 GB maximum. That's about 10 hours of 1080P footage from what I read. Of course Micro SD cards are pretty cheap and I could just buy a stack of them, but somehow it feels not ideal. I would like to be able to back the footage up onto a device somehow and I don't intend taking a laptop.

This guy uses an iPhone along with a mesermerising array of adapters and cables... it looks really awkward.

Surely there is an external drive that can also read sd cards. And of course there are... e.g. https://windowsreport.com/external-hard-drive-sd-card-reader/ and https://www.partitionwizard.com/partitionmanager/external-hard-drive-with-sd-card-reader.html

However, when I go searching for these devices locally... (i.e. Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.fr (I actually live in France)) I don't find these devices. I'm wondering are they held up by GPDR or something silly like that.

Anyway... surely I'm not the first to search for a device I can travel with to back up my footage to an external drive without a laptop or a backpack full of cables and adapters?
