I think this is most commonly found in the Japanese diet, so perhaps an Asian grocery store may have it?

    Anyone buy this in Dublin?

Recommendations for where it's to be found?

I'd much prefer to try the food than the supplement.

Seems to be available at the following from a brief google.

Asiamarket - Out of stock right now

    Organico (dot) ie - Available

    Thehopsack (dot) ie - Available

Who knows if they're good value or not, for the amount you get though?

I was advised to ask in Japanese restaurants also, they may have some available?

The only people who can answer that question for you are the restaurants themselves.

I had it in Japan years ago, good luck trying to eat this on a regular basis for the health benefits, it looks and tastes awful. I'd rather take the supplements.

    lol really?

Apparently it's good mixed with hot mustard and soya sauce over rice?

By all means try it, but I'd second the opinion of the person above who said it is disgusting. A lot of harcore Japanophiles draw the line at Nattō.

Of all the foods I've tried over the years it has the most unappealing texture. The way I would describe it is it looks like a little pile of insect eggs and they are coated in a fine slime which will stretch and hang from each portion you take up with your chopsticks or fork, looking like something from one of the Alien movies.

I tried it a couple of times and gave up, life is too short.
