Vodafone Broadband - Activation?

I got my broadband installed at 830am and the internet light is still flashing on the router, on average, how long does it take for the service to be activated? Engineer said I should have broadband within an hour.

has It gone solid yet? If not get on to Vodafone, maybe an issue activating it.
