Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Posing a question which doesn't seem to have a lot of answers for on the tinternet, but are there any new / newish cars on sale now that have both direct and port injection? Am looking at buying a long-term keeper that is not predisposed to clogging the inlet valves

I know the Seat Ibiza Cupra 1.8TSi had direct and port injection.

I cannot remember any others off the top of my head that do but it is mostly performance variants that would have both due to the cost factor.(but afaik there are a couple of non performance models that do too but I cannot remember them atm).

OK so it seems there are little or no cars matching the criteria I mentioned above, so need to look at something more mainstream.

I'm considering something from the Seat or Skoda stable with the VAG 1.0 TSI (115bhp). Any reports good or bad on that motor's reliability?
