I’m also stuck with clue :

    25d….she met 63d in New York (7) ??R??N?

the 63d is Brendan Martin cup won by the winner of Ladies All-Ireland team. It may be a sports person as it’s a sports crossword. I’m completely baffled!!!!!

20d is an anagram, and you have all the letters there. 20a is a famous golfer, and again you have the letters there almost.......can I see the penny dropping?

    Can anyone help with 14a, One is skilled in a Japanese martial art (6). - - - O - L

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 112 ✭✭guardianangel

    14a….JUDOKA

5d is Haaland then 14a ends in “a”

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 112 ✭✭guardianangel

Sorry to say thanks for 20a and 20d….yes I’ve got them now.

    Any luck with 25d ?

I think there’s a misprint in the crossword

    clue for 25dn should read:

”she met 64dn in New York” rather than 63dn. Might help you

    Stuck on 9dn myself:

“The ladies with them have legal status at last (9)”

    C _ _ _ _ A _ _ S

Thanks everyone for all your help.

I’m sorry but I’ve now discovered that my 3rd letter in 46a was incorrect. It was ‘O’ so the answer is ‘O’Rourke.’
