Pto generator

Hi all..we’re looking out for a 20 kva or thereabouts pto generator..new or good used..anyone got experience of the Tractelec, sold by shanahan power in Newcastle west?seems good value for new, but an unknown quantity to me. Anyones experience of any brand or company would be great, ta. Is used a bad idea?

A new Bradley would be my choice.

Plus one on the Bradley ….bought a 3 phase 50 kva one about 2 years ago after that storm in august ….glad I bought when I did as believe there scarce and gone up good bit in price since …..got changeover switch etc done as well …..only needed once since but worth it with cows as you can keep normal routine re milk times if power is out

Co op were doing a deal on them after Ophelia here Looking back it was crazy not having one for the price of them.

Looks like they’ll be covered in new tams..watch the prices rise…
