Family holiday self catering in Cornwall

Any recommendations for a family with young primary kids? Thinking about a week in July. Ideally near a beach. Would like Penzance or St Ives but open to other recommendations and nods towards any self catering options, tried and tested. Thanks.

I’ve used toadhall cottages in the past. Try book at very beginning of July before the schools in England finish up for their holidays. We stayed in Fowey and in South Devon. Lovely spots to visit and we got lucky with weather both times. Lots of things to see and visit with kids.
