I'm sure if you've googled anything bike related lately you'll have seen a buy cycle banner ad. Seems to offer buyer protected second hand bike sales from all over Europe. A lot of them seem to be in Germany, some of them are dealers but it's a serious Aladdin's cave of top end bikes. Not exactly bargains, but ultimate machinery for sure.

Has anyone on here bought or sold a bike through the site that could tell us how it went?

    FYI

This is what they purport to offer:

    1. pay for your bike online and select shipping or pickup in the shopping cart

    2. we send packing material to the seller and then our forwarding agency

    3. the bike will be sent to you insured

    4. we pay seller only after the bike has arrived at your place

    5. if the bike does not correspond to the specifications in the sales ad, send it back to us free of charge.

You can also apparently have them receive the bike as an intermediary step and pay them to inspect the bike and/or clean and service the bike, repair the bike or they even offer to scan carbon frames for damage or imperfections.

As I said prices are not giveaway but you do tend to see that with German used motoring or motorbike sites. Strong asking prices / valuations, but top end stuff and well-looked after.

Saw their adverts, nice looking website as well.

    Interested to see if genuine.
