Head to head best of 3 idea

    So myself and @Murph_D have just challenged each other on the 2023 goals and targets thread to a best of 3.

    3x races. Best chip time wins. Loser gives €50 to a charity of the winner's choice. First up is Raheny 5.

    Got me thinking that it could be a fun thing to do on the forum generally.

    This is my idea, but open to tweak suggestions.

    Pair people of similar abilities up, based on recent pbs. Each pairing agrees on 3x races that they go head to head in, or 3x distances if logistics are awkward. Possibly some handicap system to open it up wider. Thoughts on that?? One idea for unmatched pairings could be a pb race best of three.

    Maybe a charity element to it, or maybe just for fun and bragging rights.

    What do you all think?

    Sounds great to me! (Apart from the high probability of losing.) 😉 Trickiest bit is finding compatible 'opponents' - I picked you because your listed PBs were almost identical to my own, which is rare enough. You've far more improvement potential though!
