Cost of Wood Panel Fence

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone would know roughly the cost of having a wood panel fence installed. Looking to cordon off the back of the house.

Fence would be 16 foot on one side and roughly 24 foot on the other - the longer stretch crosses a section of tarmac of roughly 17 foot. I'd be looking for an access gate at either side of the house.

Contemplating doing it myself but the tarmac section is putting me off!

We had some panels blown down in our garden recently, we were quoted 1600 - 1800 euro for 10.5 meters (35 ish feet), which included taking away the old ones still standing (and the blown-down ones). This was for concrete posts and a concrete base with wooden panels in between. In the end, my neighbour just went for the blown-down panels as they couldn't afford the whole lot which was a shame as the concrete post ones look far better (and wouldn't rot where the post meets the wet soil). I'd imagine it may cost more to put down into tarmac as it's harder than just digging in the soil.

Thanks for that. Quoted 2k fitted for concrete posts/base and timber panels so that seems reasonable enough.
