Alterations to a suit blazer

I found a lovely suit at knock down price only problem it's a size too big I'm a 44 and it's 46 jacket size is it possible to shorten the sleeves and take it in a bit ??

For that price I'd take a chance. Go to a local tailor/seamstress for any alterations.
