Armoured cars are popular in poorer countries where kidnappings are common.

There was an option from south Africa that shoots flames out from under the doors. Typically these are aftermarket conversions starting with a biggest engine heavy SUV and adding bulletproof glass and bomb proofing.

They are quite common for ambassadors, drug dealers, armed response, army, and rich in kidnap high countries.

There was a drug dealer in Limerick who had his bulletproof car confiscated by CAB and was then driven around Limerick by armed response unit.

The Irish soldier recently killed abroad was in an up armoured SUV.

A bomb in Sandyford killed the British ambassador but the driver survived in an armoured car.

Typically the first recommendation is to try drive away as even bulletproof glass is not that bullet proof particularly to multiple high power shots at close range to the exact same location.

Is there an EV version... And how much will the electrified doors reduce range?
