I would agree with you - the previous system was a shambles (people being in direct provision centres for years). If the government have any cop on, they should be really trying to speed the whole process up and make it more efficient. And by all means, enforce more deportation orders for declined applicants if they have to, I don't see an issue with it.

Listening to a couple of supposedly spokesmen for immigrants, that Lucky chancer one of them, the mentioned on a couple of occasions how it was a disgrace there being no accommodation and this wasn't what Ireland signed up for.

What did our government sign up for. Who with and who made the decisions.

Does anyone know what our legal obligations are and who are we answerable too.

UK and EU have woken up to this and at the very least are actually calling it for what it is! Here we are still being called Far Right by our Government and almost all media. Seriously, has this country become void of any proper leadership or government fit to make decisions and address problems affecting the country.

After just reading a report from RTE, the male asylum seekers are handed a sleeping bag, dunnes voucher and an application form. No tents available now so in most instances so alot have resorted to sleeping under bridges.

I cannot Seriously believe that anyone cannot say we have reached our capacity and we should seriously be considering stopping this insanity until we seriously get a proper working immigration control in this country.

All these idiots have done, including alot of NGOs and charity organisations is totally destroyed the possibility of helping genuine asylum seekers by just making it a free for all and filling spaces with alot of fake applicants.

The fire in the travel lodge in Dublin that was set on fire wasn't due to a unsuitable building, it was due to the fsr right. The silver lining is that at least this time they didn't try burn it down with people inside it.

That's a lot of electrical faults in hotels that were about to be housing asylum seekers.

Far right actors have burned numerous hotels and other buildings that were going to house refugees/asylum seekers in this country in the last 4 years.
