    Replacing an old shower, in a bungalow with oil and immersion heating;

    Can I find a Thermostatic shower that will also heat up the water if the 'hot' supply is cold ?

    It seems that showers are only ever either mixers of heaters, but not both ?

    You want a Thermostatic Shower that is also an 9kW Instantaneous Shower.

    I have never heard of this.

    What you can do is inside in the Shower area, fit a Thermostatic Shower which is fed cold from your Cold Water storage tank, and fed by hot water from your Hot Water cylinder, which is heated by the oil heating and Immersion heater.

    Then also fit a 9.0 kW Instantaneous Shower. Depending on various factors, this can either be fed cold water from the Mains water OR from the Cold water storage tank.

    All fitted in accordance with Manufacturers Instructions.

    Problem solved.

    The Triton Safeguard is a Pumped Electric thermostatic shower. However it must be connected to the cold only supply. As mentioned in post above, you really need two separate showers. One for when you have hot water in the cylinder and an electric shower for when you don't want hot water.
