Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Mazda 6 or Toyota Avensis

    hi all,

    looking for some advice regarding people's expierence with either a 2008 Mazda 6 1.8 petrol or the Toyota Avensis 1.8 petrol models as i'am trying to narrow down the list ?. Are there any particular issues to look out for with each model .

    The Mazda can be prone to rust underneath.

    I owned a Mazda 6 08 1.8l petrol a few years ago. Even though I loved the car back in the day, it broke my heart in the end.

    The engine drank oil. I had to top it up by 2L a month. In the end, as expected, it failed the NCT on emissions, took a loss, and got rid of her.

    I wouldnt go near one.
